Testing character alignment

The following is just a test post for students in the poetry class.

This is the first line.
This is the second line, with tab. (notice that the tab is ignored)

This is the third line, centered.

This is the fourth line, right aligned.

This is the fourth line in block quotes
along with the fifth line.

Back to left align on the sixth line.
     Now the seventh line preceded by 5 " " added in HTML.
